On October 1, 2020, the City of Parkland issued Emergency Order 2020-17 which takes effect at 12:01 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2020. On October 16, 2020, Broward County issued Emergency Order 20-28. Effective immediately, on-premise consumption of food and alcohol is extended by one hour, until midnight, for all establishments in Broward County. This Order prohibits dine-in service between 12AM and 5AM, and alcohol consumption in open containers or to-go cups remains prohibited in public spaces such as beaches, beach boardwalks, parks, streets, parking lots, and other areas identified in the order.
