You can get books by coming in and picking them out in person. Or...

You can reserve items and pick them up at the circulation desk inside the Main Library by: 

1. Logging into your Parkland Library account here. Your user ID is your library card number (usually starting with an A, or sometimes a C or N). Your password is the last four digits of your phone number. You can then search the catalog and click on items you’d like to reserve.

Or

2. Call us at 954.757.4200 and ask us to reserve items for you.

When the item is physically available to be picked up you will receive an email from 
Parkland-Library-Noreply@mlasolutions.com telling you that the item is being held for you and the date that the hold expires.

The items will now be available for pick up at the circulation desk inside the Main Library Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

If you no longer need the item/items or cannot pick them up by the date on the notification, please do not REPLY to the email but CALL the library. Any items not picked up by the expiration date are subject to a $1.00 restocking fee.

Please be aware that some GMAIL notifications are being diverted to spam folders. To fix this just go to your spam folder and move the email to your inbox. That should make future notifications to go directly to your inbox.

As always, our thousands of eBooks and videos from Cloud Library and Hoopla Digital are available online. For more information about these resources, click on the eBook Services icon below.

TO RETURN BOOKS:

Service for returning books remains uninterrupted through the use of the outside Book Drop located in the Children's Wing parking lot or the Book Drop in the library during library hours. Please return materials on time by using either Book Drop.
