About the City of Parkland

Parkland City Hall

Located in the Bruce B. Blount Municipal Complex on the northeast corner of University Drive and Holmberg Road at 6600 University Drive, City Hall is the epicenter of the City’s administration. City Hall houses the Commission Chamber where City Commission meetings take place, the Office of the Mayor, the City Manager’s office, the City Clerk’s office, and the Departments of Communications, Building, Human Resources, Finance, Intergovernmental Relations, and Procurement. The City of Parkland has a population of approximately 34,000 and is located in the northwest corner of Broward County. Established in 1963, the City has grown from humble beginnings and is home to nine parks and five public schools.
