Trash and Recycling Collection

Don’t miss garbage day. The City of Parkland uses Waste Management for the collection of garbage and recycling materials. New residents should contact Waste Management at 954.974.7500 with any questions regarding service or collection.

Garbage pick-up occurs twice weekly on designated collection days, and garbage may be placed curbside no more than 12-hours prior to the scheduled collection. All garbage must be in a covered container (not to exceed 32-gallons) or appropriately tied in a garbage bag.

Grass clippings, palm fronds, or small tree branches are collected the same day as trash. These items must be separated from regular trash and should not exceed 40 pounds.

Waste Management will provide you with a 64-gallon rollout cart to be used for all recyclable materials. Recycling pick-up occurs once per week and your recycling cart should be placed curbside on your scheduled recycling day.
