Clues in the Park - November

Clues in the Park - November Instructions

Clue One

Wishbone Willie woke up one day,

To find his feathers had flown away,

He looked around the corner, and up on the stairs,

But he couldn’t find them anywhere!

Then suddenly, he gained a spark,

Surely, they flew off to the park!

With fields to run and games to play,

He hurried off without delay!

Not too near, and not too far

Perhaps they flew off to Terramar!
He was really in a Pickle, He shouldn’t wait or stall,

Maybe his feathers flew off to play a game of ______ball!

Clue two

But when he reached the courts that day,

His feathers gone, he searched away

He searched the grass, the nets, the wall

No feathers in sight, just games of ball!

He gave a sigh and shook his head,

I’ll check another park instead!

A big green statue loomed before,

He wasn’t at Terramar anymore!

The winding slides, the trees, their bark

He found himself at Liberty Park!

He searched and searched

Then stopped to think,

Maybe they needed a snack or a drink

So to the big machine he trekked,

To see if his thought was correct!

Clue three

No feathers there, to his dismay

But he was thankful for a snack on the way!

At the vending machine they were not.

Where else could they go? He sat and thought

Maybe they want nature, a pretty view

He knew just what he had to do.

A park with a bridge, overlooking the water,

Covered Bridge Park! He continued farther

So to the bridge, he looked and went

“Where could they be?” He cried and wept

Perhaps they were looking for some shade

Or for a nice lake to take a wade
