Hillsboro Boulevard Improvements from Parkside Drive to U.S. 441
Broward County announced a start date of September 2, for roadwork on Hillsboro Boulevard, from Parkside Drive to U.S. 441. The long-term project will include the construction of bike lanes and a roundabout, lighting, improved ADA accessibility, and the installation of a high‐intensity activated crosswalk (HAWK) signal between Northwest 79th Drive and Northwest 76th Drive.
The work, which will take place over a year's time, will involve lane closures and change traffic flow patterns on Hillsboro, but motorists and travelers will continue to have access to west- and eastbound lanes, as well as sidewalks on Hillsboro. Project signs will be posted on Hillsboro in the coming days, and travelers will begin to see contractors and work activity within the next two weeks.
